Starting A Jewelry Business: my story as a non-experienced novice with limited financial resources
Share
My desire to start a jewelry business began in late 2022. From then to now has been roller coaster of challenges and experiences. It has been very time consuming but very rewarding. In addition to my no prior experience in starting a business, limitation in financial resource and connecting with manufacturers that understood my vision was difficult. Fortunately, my love for this kept me going. Over time, I have been able to refine my vision for this brand, the type of product I want to put out, and build relations with manufacturers that can help this vision be realized. My overall goal is custom unique and timeless pieces. For now, I do and will continue to create the gemstones beaded bracelets myself as time permits. I am well aware that these may have to be outsource in the future as demand increases. My advise to anyone interested in establishing any type of business is to just do it. Google is your friend. Do your research. Start small and build from there. Your plan will become clearer as you go. Although I have never tried this, drop-shipping may be an option to explore. Buying from manufacturer's active stock pieces is another option. For those with no financial constraints, invest in mentorship programs. This will save you time and potentially allow positive cash flow sooner. Follow you dreams!
